Do and Does Fun Deck 3.8

This educational application, compatible with iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch®, incorporates all 52 illustrated picture flash cards from the Do and Does Fun Deck® by Super Duper® Publications, complete with audio narration of each card's text. Educators can select specific cards for student review and facilitate practice of the verb forms “do” and “does” through fill-in-the-blank exercises. Sample prompts include statements like, “David and Amy ___ the cooking” and “David ___ the cooking,” which help reinforce grammatical understanding. The app features an Automatic Scoring option, enabling students to choose between two answer options to complete each sentence correctly.

The user interface is straightforward; students can view illustrations and either read the prompt or tap the screen to hear it along with answer choices. Responses are registered by touching the selected answer. Navigation to subsequent cards is achieved by sliding the current card to the side. To change players, users can tap the bar at the top of the screen and select a different name. The app also offers an Auto-Advance feature, set via the Game Options menu, which automatically progresses through cards and players. The Pause Game function allows for temporary suspension, with the option to resume later through the main menu’s Continue Game command. Upon completion, results can be viewed in a graphical format and exported via printing or email functionalities.
